    Description

Pakistan or India Punjab Gold Embroidered Curl Toe Jutti Shoes
A pair of vintage Pakistan or India Punjab gold embroidered curl toe Jutti shoes dating from the 1920s to the 1940's. They are hand made of leather and gold metal thread gilt wire embroidery work. These men's jutti slip-on slipper shoes with curled up pointed toes are called Mojari. They have hand stitched leather bottom flat straight soles. They are lined in red leather, with a gold metallic embroidered design inside.
The shoes measure ~10" long, ~3" wide, with ~5 1/2" long curled leather tip toes.
These Jutti shoes are in really excellent condition and its hard to tell if they have ever been worn. They have slight discoloration or stain on a part of the green interior felt of one shoe. The gold thread in excellent condition with no noticeable defects.
These are truly a rare and beautiful example of very nice and very wearable vintage Pakistan Indian textile art.
