This is an Ideal Early, First Issue, 1961 Working Thumbelina Baby Doll.
She is Wearing a Brand New, Custom-Made, Pastel Pink Dress Set. This is a Complete Ensemble.
She is the Biggest Thumbelina Made from the 1960's Production. She is Approximately 20" Long and She is Marked "Ideal Toy Corp/OTT-19" on the back of her neck.
The First Issue Dolls Had the Bigger Turn Knob (this one is plastic) and No Crier Holes in Their Ears.
Thumbelina's Vinyl Has Been Freshly Cleaned. She Offers No Surface Dirt or Vintage Grime.
She is a Very Sweet Doll in Very Good to Excellent Condition. And She is Display Ready.
She has a Soft Vinyl Head with Pretty Strawberry Blonde Hair. Her Hair Has Been Freshly Washed and Conditioned. It Covers Her Head Nicely. She has a Clean Scalp Too. It is Nice For This Model With None Missing and No Bald Spots. She has a Nice Bang Length Too. It is Still Somewhat Dry.
Her Face Paint is Still Bright and Well Noticed. She Has Light Blue Eyes, Deep Brown Eyebrows, Black Outer Stroke Eyelashes, Pink Cheek Color With No Rubs and An Open Mouth with Pink Lip Color. All of her Face Paint is Original With No Touchups.
She has Soft Vinyl Limbs in a Matching Fleshy Skintone.  All Vinyl, Her Face, Neck, Limbs and Digits Have Been Freshly Cleaned. She has All Fingers and Toes.
She Works Well. When You Turn her Knob her Head Rotates in a Circle Like it Should. She Continues On Until the End of the Cycle. Her Mechanics Work Quietly and Are Original.
She is a Big, Chubby Baby and Her Cloth Body is Plumb and Fully Stuffed. It is a Peachy/Melon Color. It Has No Rips and No Sewing Repairs. Her Body Shows Some Minor Age Staining and Spotting Associated with the Age of the Doll.
Her Cloth Body Has Not Been Washed or Cleaned.
This Dress Set Was Made Especially For This Model Doll by a Very Talented Seamstress. It is a Very Girly Set, is Complete and Looks Great on Thumbelina.
Her Pink Dress is a Poly-Cotton with Lace Trim at the Neckline and the 3/4 Arm Length. It has Rick-Rack Trim at the Bodice with a Pink Bow at the Waist. It has Jacquard Ribbon Trim at the Bottom and closes in back with Snaps that allow the Turn Knob to be Easily Accessible.
Her Matching Pink Pantaloons have an Elastic Waist with Lace Trim. Her Adorable Bonnet is Lined and has Lace Trim on the Brim and Around the Back. It Has a Generously Sized Pink Satiny Flower with a Pearlette in the Center on Each Side. It Ties Closed with Pink Ribbon.
Her Hand Knit Booties are Pink and White and Have Matching Pink Ribbon Weaved into the Knit that Ties into a Front Bow.
She Also Comes with a Strand of Pink Ribbon to Tie in her Hair.
Please View All The Pictures as They Are a Most Important Part of the Written Description. Her Pictures Were Taken in Natural Light With Flash. No Color Saturation Was Used.
The Vinyl Very Close to her Cloth Body Has Not Been Cleaned. The Cloth Stains if Water Goes Near it. So We Were Very Carefully Not to Leave Any Water Staining. Please Expect a Dot Here or a Mark There on her Vinyl.  And Please Expect Some Normal Signs of Age and Usage.
Vintage Imperfections/Flaws Have Been Disclosed Above and/or Photographed.
She is a Very Nice Doll for Being 60 Years Old, But she is Not Perfect, Not Mint and Not in Brand New Condition.
Thumbelina is Being Sold as a Vintage, Pre-Owned, Pre-Used 60 Year Old Vintage Toy.
