    Description

    Offered for sale is a beautiful children's sugar bowl from the "Pretty Polly Party Dishes" set.  This set of Depression Glass was manufactured by the Jeannette Glass Company of Jeannette, Pennsylvania from 1937-1938.  There were originally 14 pieces in the set:  a sugar, a creamer, four cups, four saucers, and four dinner plates.  The set came in two different colors:  pink and teal blue.  The pink is much easier to find and the teal is more difficult to locate.  Do a search and see for yourself.  Believe me, after buying and selling Depression Glass for over 25+ years, I can give you lots of info.  The sugar bowl stands 2 1/2 inches tall and measures 2 1/2 inches across the top (not including the handles).  This child's sugar bowl is in MINT CONDITION with no chips, no cracks, and no damage whatsoever!  I identified this piece in the "Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass" -16th edition - by Gene and Cathy Florence.  It can be found on pages 70 & 71.  This is a beautiful piece and you will be quite happy with it!!  Please see the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  Happy Shopping!!
