    Description

1964-1965 Corvette Buick Olds Pontiac NEW non-D.O.T. 224 flasher 383639
    Product Description
    Brand new non-D.O.T. flasher unit.
This was manufactured by TungSol (their number was 224), and sold to GM for OEM, who used part number 383639 for their cars.
    This fits:
1964 Buick Special, Skylark, Sport Wagon, LeSabre, Wildcat, Electra, Estate Wagon and Riviera
1965 Buick Special, Skylark, Gran Sport, Sport Wagon, LeSabre and Wildcat
1965 Cadillac Calais, DeVille, Eldorado and Fleetwood 75
1964 - 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle, Malibu, Biscayne, BelAir, Impala Station Wagon, Corvair, Chevy II, Nova and Corvette (with back-up lamps only)
1964 Oldsmobile F85, Cutlass, 4-4-2, Vista Cruiser, Fiesta Wagon and 98
1965 Oldsmobile F85, Cutlass, 4-4-2, Starfire and 98 (no Wagons)
1964 Pontiac Tempest (but not LeMans)
1965 Pontiac Tempest, LeMans, GTO, Catalina Safari Wagon, Bonneville Safari Wagon and Grand Prix
From what I gather, this flasher was designed to work off the load applied to it. This 224 flasher was designed for a load of two bulbs - front park/turn lamp and tail/turn lamp (not counting the indicator lamp in the dash), which is why you see some models not included in the above list.
I have three different versions of this flasher. All of them have a metal can/cover (which means it is pre-1966), and do not have the D.O.T. marking on them. They have three different versions of the SAE stamping: J590, J590-61 and J590a (with LL in the center). The LL version is unpainted, while the other two are painted blue. All are TungSol 224 flashers.

    Shipping - Payment
A few words to make things easier.
    1. Combined shipping for multiple auctions is always available, but when the auction is over, you will have to wait until I revise things in my eBay "paperwork" to create just one invoice for all your purchased auctions.  And I have to do the revising
    BEFORE
you pay.  If auctions are paid separately (i.e. before you receive my invoice combining items), eBay will no longer then let me combine them on one invoice.
    AND
, eBay then automatically charges you separate shipping charges for each item, which is not refunded.  Again, this is eBay's set-up.  Combining auctions benefits you by saving you shipping and handling fees.
    2. Payment is expected within 3 days.  After 8 days, I will file with eBay to have my auction fees refunded.  If there is a problem with 3 days, please let me know, as I am not unreasonable, and I know that things happen.  Just be aware that having been on eBay full-time for several years has already afforded me an opportunity to hear a lot of "creative" stories.
    Thanks for your bid.
